Eat With Us
Like everyone who comes to Kames, and keeps on coming back, we want you to enjoy eating with us.
All food is carefully and freshly prepared every day. We use the finest, natural ingredients to bring you a mouth-watering menu using local fresh fish and seafood, or why not try our fine scotch beef or wild venison from our local, award wining supplier Richard McIntyre from the Isle of Bute.
Breakfasts
Served between 8.30am and 9.30am, breakfast is a relaxed affair, served with a view over the ever changing sea. Take time to study the local wildlife getting up for the day or watch the local fishermen, already out chasing dinner…
We keep it simple for those of you who need a gentle start with plenty of good freshly ground coffee, then why not follow it with a full Scottish breakfast bursting with sizzling Ayrshire bacon, sausages, eggs and black pudding, it may be the only way to go.
In for lunch
Our bar menu is freshly prepared for you between noon and 2.30pm. Every day brings new specials depending on the game season or the local catch. Often there are mouth watering fresh scallops and langoustine or pheasant and venison. There is an extensive bar menu to suit all, from a tasty light lunch, to a relaxed three course treat with drinks to enjoy with friends.
Dinner time
Choose to eat in one of our bars whilst starting the night with some real ales or a perfectly chosen bottle of wine from our wine menu, or make a night of it in the dining room where our menu is simply well prepared cuisine.
Good for children
We offer small portions of the same quality fare for our younger visitors.
