The Wedding Meal
The West Coast is often described as ‘Scotland’s larder’ with a wealth of local game, fish and
seafood to choose from.

At the Kames Hotel we like to reflect the areas natural resources on our menus and support local farmers and fishermen, which of course gives our guests a true taste of Scotland! Our menu selector therefore offers traditional and contemporary Scottish food at it’s finest and we invite you to choose your wedding breakfast menu using this as a starting point. However, we also pride ourselves on our ability to ‘tailor-make’ your wedding meal according to your own tastes. Maybe you would like dishes from the bride and groom’s own countries, an outdoor hog roast (weather permitting), fish and chips, pie and peas, a buffet or 7 courses!

This is your day and the choice really is yours. Just talk your ideas through with Philippa to create a wedding day that is unique and personal to you. Evening refreshments can also be as simple or as lavish as you want and again, let us know your personal requirements or choose one of our evening menu suggestions.

Wedding Co-ordination
Your personal wedding co-ordinator will be with you every step of the way, ensuring your special day is tailor made to your requirements. This brochure is designed as a guide to weddings at the Kames Hotel and the services we offer. We understand that every wedding is unique and welcome any personal requests.

Philippa will work closely with you through every stage, liaising with chefs and the catering team to ensure your wedding suits your requirements and budget. With a wealth of experience and knowledge, Philippa and her team can give advice on formalities, timings for the day, local accommodation and local suppliers (for anything from flowers to kilt hire!).

Once you have agreed a date for your wedding and talked through your initial requirements, a further meeting will be held at 3 months and then again at 3 weeks prior to the wedding. This will ensure the build up to your big day is as stress free as possible. Philippa available 7 days a week with advice and assistance.
